Please read the following terms and conditions for studio hire at Randem Studios.

 

When Booking:

 

Hirers must be aware that the Randem Studio’s photography and green screen studios are on the second and third floors respectively. There is a necessary restriction on the size of props that can practically be brought into the studio. If in doubt, the hirer must contact the studio manager in advance to seek advice.

 

The Randem Studios green screen is sound-proofed. However, it is not a sound stage. Heavy rain on the studio’s roof can cause noise interference with certain microphones (top mounts and directional). Those hiring the studio do so at their own risk, Randem Studios can not compensate for production costs incurred by weather conditions affecting sound recording.  

 

Randem Studios hours of operation are from 8.30am to 6pm. All day studio hire is for 9 hours commencing at 8.30am. Half day studio hire is for 4 hours and must start or finish at 1pm. Extended hours (after 5.30pm) incurs a $75/hour or part hour charge. Prior warning must be given if you intend to start early or extend your hours. Build, break and test can be arranged. Randem Studios are closed for business on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Weekend hire by special arrangement only.

 

All first time hirers will be required to provide a current and suitable public liability policy. Copies of insurance documents will be kept on file for reference in future bookings.

 

It is Randem Studio’s policy that all studio cancellations must be made a minimum of three days in advance to receive a full refund. Randem Studios reserve the right to close the studios for any reason. Wherever possible, we will endeavour to give a minimum of 48 hours notice. Full refund will be given. 

 

Within the studio:

 

Randem Studios takes no responsibility for the damage, injury or loss of any person, property or equipment (including damage or loss during transit.) Whilst Randem Studios will take all care in supervising the studios, clients leaving property, props or equipment on the premises at any time must do so at their own risk and ensure their insurance policy covers them accordingly.

 

All patrons of the studio and their guests are required to keep well away from the base of the Randem Studio infinity cycloramas at all times. No black soled shoes or high heels should be worn in the photography studio (except by talent). Where it is safe to do so, we ask that photographers and crew remove shoes in the photography studio.

 

The hirer (or the hirer’s representatives) is responsible for all damage or loss of any studio equipment and surrounds and must inform the studio manager immediately if damage or loss occurs. In the event of any such damage or loss Randem Studios has the right to charge the client accordingly. The hirer (or hirers’ representatives) must ensure that the studio space is left in an “as found condition. Should the studio require additional cleaning, repair or repainting additional costs will be incurred.

 

The hirer and all representatives of the hirer must show proper and respectful conduct for the Randem Studios and all other people and activities within the studio at all times. Patrons of the studio must not engage in any illegal, dangerous or nuisance activity. As much as is possible we ask that you stay within your own hired area.

 

All deliveries to Randem Studios must have the letter or number of the studio hired plus the contact name and contact number clearly marked on them. If any props, equipment or furniture is to be left at the studios for pick up, the relevant courier pick up form must be completed and returned to the Studio Manager. Please make those using the studios aware of the terms and conditions.
